Since 1879, the Kalkaska County Fair has been a place where community, agriculture, and tradition come together each summer in Northern Michigan. What started as a gathering to celebrate local farming and livestock has grown into a week that generations of families look forward to year after year.

From 4-H and livestock shows to rodeos, grandstand events, live entertainment, local food, and friendly competition, the fair continues to honor the hardworking people and rural way of life that make our community special. It’s a place where neighbors reconnect, kids make lifelong memories, and traditions are passed down from one generation to the next.

As we celebrate the 147th Kalkaska County Fair, we are proud to continue honoring the heart of Northern Michigan while creating lasting memories for everyone who walks through the gates.
